Nor are they transferable from year to year. Once you are signed up, race fees are used for race expenses and cannot be returned.

In consideration of accepting this entry, I understand and agree to be legally bound hereby for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, successors and waive, release and hold harmless The Rye Derby YMCA 5K, The Town of Rye, elitefeats inc., and any volunteers and all race sponsors and their agents, employees and representatives for any and all injuries, claims, liabilities and causes of action related to my participation in this event. I attest that I am physically fit and have sufficiently trained for the completion of this event and that my condition has been verified by a licensed medical doctor. I further grant permission to any of the foregoing organizations to take and use photographs, video, and recordings or any other record of this event for any purpose whatsoever.

If signed by a parent, the parent agrees to release and hold the above-named organizations and persons harmless of any claims which may be asserted by or on behalf of the entrant as well.

THE RACE IS CAPPED AT 200 RUNNERS - 40 PEOPLE PER WAVE, AGES 14 & UP

Race instructions – you will be sent an email on Saturday before the event
Social distancing – please adhere to all social distancing guidelines. Staff and volunteers will be onsite to direct runners.
Bring a face-covering – please wear your face mask upon arrival, at the start line and at the finish
No Spectators.
Please depart the area immediately following your race.
There are no awards or raffles.

IF YOU CHOSE VIRTUAL: BIB WILL BE SHIPPED TO YOU STARTING ON 4/23 AND YOU CAN COMPETE VIRTUALLY FROM 4/25 - 5/2

BIB PICKUP & REGISTRATION

There will be no race day registration or bib pickup.  Bibs will be mailed prior to the event.

COURSE

The 5K course is mostly flat with a few slight inclines. There will be no water stops on the course, please bring your own hydration.
