Since 1893, Helen Keller Services (HKS) has been committed to improving the lives of individuals who are blind, visually impaired or have combined hearing and vision loss.
HKS is comprised of Helen Keller National Center for Deaf-Blind Youth and Adults, a division headquartered in Sands Point, New York, with a network of regional offices that extends HKS’ reach across the United States, and Helen Keller Services for the Blind, a regional division serving the New York City/Long Island area.
Our national and regional centers maintain regular communication, relaying the latest safety information and providing services or connecting individuals to resources in their local communities. From early intervention for children to senior citizen programs that help older adults gain skills to live as independently as possible, we’re there for people at every stage of their lives.
Funds raised from this event will enable HKS to do all we can to assist our consumers with sensory loss to receive equal access to opportunity!
