What better way to start off your Brooklyn Pride Saturday than with a morning 5K (3.1 mile) LGBTQIA+ fun run? You'll be joined by hundreds of runners from across NYC and beyond as you race through scenic and historic Prospect Park. A portion of your registration fee will go toward Brooklyn Pride's Volunteer Grant, designed to celebrate local non-profit organizations that provide direct support services to the LGBTQIA+ community. More information about the 2021 Brooklyn Pride LGBTQIA+ 5K Run Volunteer Grant, including how to submit an application, can be found below.
The race is sponsored by Brooklyn Pride, in partnership with Front Runners New York. Brooklyn Pride is one of the largest and most prominent organizations serving Brooklyn’s LGBTQIA+ community. Be sure to check out all the other festivities during Brooklyn Pride Week!

Your bib will be mailed to you!
If you don't receive your bib in the mail by race day, visit the timer at the finish line to pick up your bib morning of the event.

RUN WITH FRNY
Front Runners New York is an LGBT running club with organized long runs, speed training, multisport workouts, socials events, and much, much more. The club is a supportive community for athletes of all ability levels and interests. Everyone is welcome to join fun runs on Tuesday nights in Prospect Park in Brooklyn, as well as Wednesday nights and Saturday mornings in Central Park in Manhattan.

In continuation of this mission, the Volunteer Grant program seeks to support and celebrate local non-profit organizations that provide direct support services to the LGBTQIA+ community.
