Race instructions regarding the event start will be sent out by the evening before the event.
Social distancing will be in effect at the start line with staggered and chip-timed starts.
Bring a face covering. You do not have to run with it on, but have it on you at all times.

About the Proceeds 14th Annual AIDS & Cancer 5K Run Walk:
The Foundation will be raising money for the Center of AIDS Research & Treatment at Northwell Health and its Client Advisory Board in Manhasset. The money will also be used for transporting patients for medical services and social gatherings organized by this group.
The Foundation will also raise money to benefit people living w/ cancer & HIV at the Center of AIDS Research & Treatment at Northwell Health/ North Shore University Hospital, Five Towns Community Center, LIFQC Family Health Centers & St. John’s Episcopal Hospital.

AMENITIES
250 gift cards valued at $25 each to all registrants. Gift cards as follows: $10 to Remy's Italian Restaurant in Hewlett, $5 to Runyon’s of Seaford, $5 to The Cabana and Lido Kosher Deli (both of Long Beach).
T-shirts with your name on it! Guaranteed to all online registrants by 5/21. If you sign up after 5/21, you will receive a t-shirt on race day, but it will not have your name on the shirt.
All finishers will receive a MEDAL!
After the race, you can pick up your gift cards, medal, bottled water, and snacks which will be in a sealed bag as well as a raffle prize if you won a raffle! Your running bib is your raffle ticket and raffles will be selected prior to the race. Please understand we are grateful to be able to have LIVE racing and the Town of Hempstead has told us that all participants must leave the finish area after they pick up their swag at the finish.
Raffle Prizes:
Raffle prizes will be given out to 1st, 2nd, & 3rd, etc. registrants so if we only have 250 registrants and 125 raffle prizes then only the first 125 registrants will win a raffle. To be fair we ask for a maximum of two people registering every day from a family.

The Richard M. Brodsky Foundation encourages people living with HIV or cancer to lead an upbeat lifestyle consisting of a daily run or walk. If there are any runners or walkers who are HIV-positive or cancer survivors, please write [email protected] and your registration fee will be waived. This offer shall apply to a maximum of 50 people and your health status will not be disclosed.
