This is going to be a great event running past rivers, bridges and forests!

This race is a BQ Marathon!

All registrants will get a t-shirt, medal & free pair of socks!


All first time half marathon and marathon finishers receive a plaque!

The athletes will also receive their finisher’s medal. 
Find Mark at the end of the race and let him know you ran your first marathon or half.

 

Early Start Information

  • No early starts for 5K/10K
  • A single early start time for the Half Marathon & Marathon at 7:00am
  • No awards for any early starts 

Also, anyone doing the early start should be trying to run a 15min mile or slower
 for the half or full. If they end up doing faster than 2:15 for the half they may not get a time.

I attest that I am physically fit and have sufficiently trained for the completion of this event and that my condition has been verified by a licensed medical doctor. I further grant permission to any of the foregoing organizations to take and use photographs, video, and recordings or any other record of this event for any purpose whatsoever.

If signed by a parent, the parent agrees to release and hold the above-named organizations and persons harmless of any claims which may be asserted by or on behalf of the entrant as well.

  • The Saturday marathon and half marathon events will have pace groups. The pace groups will generally be 3:30 up to 4:45 pace groups. We'll provide more info as the event gets closer.

BIB PICKUP

Early: Friday, April 2 from 3pm - 5pm at Lackawaxen Town Park, 107 Scenic Drive, Lackawaxen, PA 18435 (under the Pavillion)


Race Day: See event staff starting 1 hour before the event. Bib number required for pickup; use Self Lookup or Bib Lookup if needed. Last-minute registrants (within 24 hours) will receive their bib number by text within 90 seconds.


COURSE

  • These races are certified Boston Marathon qualifying course. Certificate PA21001NP.
  • There will be signs directing athletes and  families to the parking area.
  • There are not any climbs on either course. Gaining 50 feet per mile is less than a 1 percent grade.
  • Mile marker signs at every mile (as well as paint on the road surface). Signs that can’t be missed at the turnarounds (marathon, half-marathon, 10k and 5k).
  • Marathon and half marathon turns. Please don’t miss them! Only 5 people have missed turns in the 4 previous years of the race. Each turn will have signage, paint on the ground, cones and more signs  letting you know it’s time to turn.
  • Race Director Rule of Thumb, “When you think you have enough signs on the course so that nobody can possibly get lost, double the signage!” There  will be double the signage on the course.

PARKING

  • We have permission to park in the paved area at the Fire Department, as well as the parking lot by the Zane Grey Museum.
  • At the fire department, please only park on the paved area.
  • There will be no parking signs on the side roads near the park.
  • Please do not park where you see a NO PARKING sign. We would like to keep our great relations with the local residents. Thank you!
