In consideration of accepting this entry, I understand and agree to be legally bound hereby for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, successors and waive, release and hold harmless The Watermelon 5K, Eisenhower Park, The Town of East Meadow, elitefeats inc., and any volunteers and all race sponsors and their agents, employees and representatives for any and all injuries, claims, liabilities and causes of action related to my participation in this event. I attest that I am physically fit and have sufficiently trained for the completion of this event and that my condition has been verified by a licensed medical doctor. I further grant permission to any of the foregoing organizations to take and use photographs, video, and recordings or any other record of this event for any purpose whatsoever.

If signed by a parent, the parent agrees to release and hold the above-named organizations and persons harmless of any claims which may be asserted by or on behalf of the entrant as well.

GETTING YOUR BIB

In-Person options: 
See event staff starting 1 hour before the event.

Register 3 weeks in advance for a personalized bib. Bib number required for pickup; use Self Lookup or Bib Lookup if needed. Last-minute registrants (within 24 hours) will receive their bib number by text within 90 seconds.

Have your bib mailed to you prior to the race for $10! *(must be registered 10 days in advance to get a bib mailed)

Wearing Your Bib: The mid-torso is the sweet spot for accurate results. Please be sure to wear your bib just above your belly button, right side up, for best read-rates. Do not fold, crumple or cut your bib in any way. It must be visible to onlookers and not get in the way of your arms/legs. Please use four pins, or four alternative-securing gear such as race magnets, in each corner to ensure proper placement and visibility.
