Welcome to the Harrison Community 5K, a special event celebrating America’s 250th Anniversary and bringing together residents, runners, families, and community supporters. 

This race is designed to promote health, community engagement, and celebration while supporting local charitable causes. 

Participants will enjoy a scenic race experience through Harrison, followed by a lively finish area featuring music, wellness activities, and community gathering. 

All proceeds from this event will support local community charities, helping strengthen programs and initiatives that benefit the Harrison community. 

We invite runners, walkers, families, and dog lovers to join us in celebrating this historic milestone together.

In consideration of accepting this entry, I understand and agree to be legally bound hereby for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, successors and waive, release and hold harmless Harrison Community 5K, elitefeats inc., and any volunteers and all race sponsors and their agents, employees and representatives for any and all injuries, claims, liabilities and causes of action related to my participation in this event. I attest that I am physically fit and have sufficiently trained for the completion of this event and that my condition has been verified by a licensed medical doctor. I further grant permission to any of the foregoing organizations to take and use photographs, video, and recordings or any other record of this event for any purpose whatsoever.

If signed by a parent, the parent agrees to release and hold the above-named organizations and persons harmless of any claims which may be asserted by or on behalf of the entrant as well.

BIB PICKUP

Early: May 30th at CKO Kickboxing - 1100 Frank E. Rodgers Blvd, Harrison, NJ from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Day of: See event staff starting 1 hour before the event. Register 3 weeks in advance for a personalized bib. Bib number required for pickup; use Self Lookup or Bib Lookup if needed. Last-minute registrants (within 24 hours) will receive their bib number by text within 90 seconds.

COURSE

The Harrison Community 5K course is a scenic route through the Town of Harrison and West Hudson Park featuring a combination of flat sections and moderate inclines.

Parking Information
Free public parking will be available near the event area. Additional street parking may also be available nearby.

Please arrive early, as parking may become limited closer to race time.

We encourage participants to carpool whenever possible.


Public Transportation
We strongly encourage participants and spectators to use public transportation.

By Train: Take the PATH Train to Harrison Station.

The start/finish area is within walking distance from the station.

Purpose Runners Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting community wellness, active lifestyles, and charitable initiatives through running events.
