BAGGAGE - Will be set up at the Finish Line on Broadway between 31st and 32nd Street (GPS Location), please make time to grab your bib, then drop your bag at the Finish Line!
WALK TO THE START - After collecting their bib, runners will then WALK/WARM-UP to the start on 38th Street and Broadway. (GPS Location)
The Astoria Mile is moving to BROADWAY! 🏁
While we originally anticipated racing on 31st Avenue, the course will now take place entirely along Broadway, while keeping the same fast and exciting course concept.
Runners will start near 38th Street, just off Steinway Street, race down Broadway toward 31st Street, turn back toward Steinway, and then make one final push downhill toward 31st Street.
The move also puts us even closer to public transportation, with convenient access from both the N/W at Broadway and the M/R at Steinway Street.
Everything else about race morning remains the same. We're excited to welcome you to Broadway and introduce a brand-new mile to the streets of Astoria.
