Turkey “Run for Fun” History – On Thanksgiving morning 1976, John Keeshan got together with some friends  to engage in a morning run from the Village Green, to the Lighthouse, and then back again. This developed into a yearly tradition, which eventually became the annual event that is now under the direction of the East Hampton Town, Recreation Department.

The distance from the village green to the lighthouse and back is 11 miles will be run virtual only.

Adult Waiver Language

I am participating in the TOWN OF EAST HAMPTON'S, 49th Turkey “Run For Fun” an event sponsored and administered by the TOWN OF EAST HAMPTON.
In doing so, I understand that physical activities such as these sometimes result in accidents despite the best efforts of the organizer to supervise the participants. I accept any medical bills resulting from such an accident as solely my responsibility.
Further, in participating in this program, I agree to hold the TOWN OF EAST HAMPTON, its employees, volunteers, elitefeats Inc., and all vendors assisting with the race, as well as its elected and appointed officials, harmless from liability resulting from my participation in the race.

Day-of for Live Event: Bib pickup starts at 8:00AM

Virtual: Are shipped to you! Shipping window ranges from one week prior to the event to one week post event.

  • Hurry; Register 3 weeks in advance to get a personalized Race Number!
  • You must know your bib number in order to pick up your bib. If you do not know your bib number there will be a Self Lookup area. 
  • If you register within 24 hours of bib pickup you will be texted your bib number within 90 seconds or click on Bib Lookup above.

COURSE

Start and finish will be on the street!
6M is 2 laps of course. 3M is 1 lap of the course.
