Jamaica, Queens is known as a vibrant hub of strength, community, and culture. This USATF-certified 5K run is designed to promote a meaningful community connection through a day of fitness and physical activity. The course route will promote attention on Downtown Jamaica’s commercial corridors and highlight historic landmarks throughout the neighborhood.

We aim to create a positive economic impact by donating net proceeds to a local community or educational program.

AMENITIES

  • Participants of the Walk/Run will receive a T-shirt and Finisher Medal
  • Water Stations & Porta Potty locations
  • FREE mobile lockers available for the first 450 runners

AWARDS

  • Top 3 M/F/X: Overall
  • Top 3 M/F Age Groups: 17 & under, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
  • Company Awards: Most participation from a company

BENEFICIARY

BIB AND T-SHIRT PICKUP

Please see the event staff starting at 6:45AM.

  • Hurry; Register 3 weeks in advance to get a personalized Race Number!
  • You must know your bib number in order to pick up your bib. If you do not know your bib number there will be a Self Lookup area. 
  • If you register within 24 hours of bib pickup you will be texted your bib number within 90 seconds or click on Bib Lookup above.

COURSE

START: The race will start at York College (Parking Lot of the Performing Arts Center 94-45 Guy R. Brewer Blvd.) and end at York College.

PARKING: We encourage participants and attendees to park at Midblock Garage, about 3 blocks from the race start. There is a parking fee. The lot is located at 89-35 162nd Street, Jamaica, NY 11432.
