Mott Street Mile is a 1-mile event on the streets of Manhattan Chinatown presented by Run for Chinatown and the NY Chinese Freemasons.
Bib pickup at 108 Mosco Street will open at 8:00 am. Bathroom and bag check will be available.
Medals will be awarded for first, second, and third places for adults in the categories of male, female, and nonbinary.
This is an unsanctioned race, meaning it will take place without official permits or full road closures. While we will work closely with local officials and a dedicated team of volunteers to regulate traffic and create a safe environment for racing, participants should be aware of the unique nature of this event.
The race is strictly for runners—walking the route is not permitted. To maintain the integrity and flow of the event, all participants must sustain a running pace and complete the course within 15 minutes. Additionally, due to the constraints of this unsanctioned format, we are unable to accommodate strollers, pets, or youth under the age of 18.
Run for Chinatown’s mission is to inspire people and challenge limits through the sport of running. We host weekly runs and special events in an effort to spread awareness and provide economic support to the Asian & Pacific Islander communities in New York City.
Through our programming, Run for Chinatown builds a sense of belonging and celebrates cultural diversity by collaborating with local organizations and youth programs to empower the API community.
Please see the event staff at 108 Mosco Street starting at 8:00 am.
