The EAC is open to athletes of all abilities from beginners to the national level. We strive toward inclusivity and believe in spreading kindness and awareness to athletics as a form of mental health and wellness.
Weekly practices are held Mondays 6:00PM at Farmingdale HS with Coach MaryEllen Adegbite and Thursdays 6:30PM Bay Shore HS with Coach Oscar Mercado. USATF Certified Coaching.

The club is free to join. We only require a membership with USATF-LI which funds local Youth Athletics and Coaching Education.
Membership in the NYPD Running Club is only open to employees of Law Enforcement, and their invited guests.
Consider signing up for a Three Year Membership offered at a discounted cost.
After processing your membership a confirmation email will be sent to you along with a link to purchase club gear from our partner Squad Life. Singlets are optional and are not required to be worn at club events. Other items, such as tee shirts, hoodies, coins, etc are also sold at club events which are posted on our website calendar.
The NYPD Running Club does not have any official affiliation with the New York City Police Department, other then the fact that the membership, and club officers, are comprised of mostly active or retired employees of the department.
The Long Island Road Runners are proud of our Men’s and Women’s Race Teams. The teams provide competitive but friendly competition at races from March through November. It’s a great way to meet fellow runners. It’s not about being fast! It’s about scoring in competition against other running teams.
