See event staff starting 1 hour before the event. Register 3 weeks in advance for a personalized bib. Bib number required for pickup; use Self Lookup or Bib Lookup if needed. Last-minute registrants (within 24 hours) will receive their bib number by text within 90 seconds.

COURSE

6k Run will start 9AM - The course is USATF Certified, “relatively flat” trail track course with two laps inside Riverfront Park, two water stations.

Kids Fun Run will begin at 8AM - The course will be on grass and distances depending on age group.

An UNTIMED 2 Mile Walk will start 9:45AM - It is one lap around park.

As the second race of the Four Seasons Run Series, the Summer Riverfront 6K continues a purpose-driven journey that brings together movement, community, and impact through every season.

Organized by Purpose Runners Foundation in partnership with Insight Run Club, Newark City Parks Foundation, Newark Riverfront Park,

and the Town of Harrison, this unique point-to-point race brings together runners, walkers, and the local community for an unforgettable summer experience.

The race begins next to the Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, NJ and finishes at the beautiful Newark Riverfront Park,creating a scenic and energetic course along the waterfront.

Designed for runners of all levels, the Summer Riverfront 6K combines a high-energy atmosphere, community connection, and a meaningful mission making it much more than just another race.

Whether you’re chasing a PR, running your first race, or simply showing up for the experience.
