BIB PICKUP

You must register at the Hampton Bays Middle School on Ponquogue Ave. between 7:00-8:30 AM, so that you can be bused to the starting area at Warner’s Park on the South Side of the Ponquogue Bridge.  

See event staff starting 1 hour before the event. Register 3 weeks in advance for a personalized bib. Bib number required for pickup; use Self Lookup or Bib Lookup if needed. Last-minute registrants (within 24 hours) will receive their bib number by text within 90 seconds.

No Vehicular traffic allowed at Warner’s Park.

COURSE

Our unique race course highlights the beautiful vistas along the Atlantic Ocean, Shinnecock Inlet, Shinnecock Bay offering extraordinarily, breathtaking views from the Ponquogue Bridge. The route showcases the residential neighborhoods of Hampton Bays. While the course is generally flat and fast, it also includes the exhilarating challenge of crossing the Ponquogue Bridge.

The course may be subject to change for safety if weather or road conditions require such.

No Roller Blades,  Headphones,  and Animals are prohibited from participating in this race. All participants under twelve (12) years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

MORE ABOUT THE EVENT

The Hampton Bays Lions Club is a community service organization supporting charitable works in Hampton Bays and East Quogue since 1948. Last year thru this event the Lions Club sponsored six Seeing Eye dogs for those in our community in need.  Three of the dogs are designated for returning wounded Veterans and three for persons with blindness living in our area.   We financially contribute to The Smithtown Guide Dog Foundation and Canine Companions for Returning Veterans, scholarships for deserving students in the Hampton Bays and Westhampton districts, local churches, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Little League, Maureen’s Haven, and the St. Rosalie’s food pantry to name a few.
