Back Course with Start and Finish in Front of Beautiful & Historic Schouler Park

Fast and flat New England course with early fall color in the mountains, spectacular scenery!

Start/finish in historic Schouler Park in North Conway Village.

Run north along scenic West Side Road and the bike lane going out before turning around at the halfway point near Passaconaway Road and heading back along the bike lane and returning to finish in Schouler Park. Take in the views along the way of the Saco River, Cathedral Ledge, Mount Washington and the Presidential Range and the cornfields and pastures along West Side Road. You might even get a glimpse of a Percheron draft horse at The Hussey Family of Naughtaveel Farm.

Race Description & Course Maps:

Schouler Park will be the site of our Athlete Village. The New Course is New England flat and will be FAST!! Leaving Schouler park, home of the Conway Scenic Railroad, run north on the White Mountain Hwy (Rt.16) to the traffic light and take a right down River Road under the train trestle. Watch for views of the Saco River, Cathedral Ledge, and Mount Washington before taking a left onto scenic West Side Rd. and south on the bike lane to the turnaround at 6.55 miles near Passaconaway Rd. The course crosses over to the other side of West Side Rd. where you return north back to crossover near Schartner’s Strawberry Stand to the other side of the road. The course turns right onto River Road for the last uphill of the day before heading back to the finish at Schouler Park the same way you came out. Enjoy the scenery of local valley farms with the beautiful White Mountains. Congratulations on your accomplishment!!

* Cutoff time for the Half Marathon is 3hrs 15min (15 minute mile pace)
