The Ridgewood Run® is a spirited day of multiple outdoor running events promoting health, wellness, family and community. It is produced by North Jersey Masters Running Club, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3), and since 1976, has taken place annually every Memorial Day in the Village of Ridgewood.
Four distinct events provide the center of activity in a festive, open-park atmosphere. These include a 5K, 10K, a 1 Mile Run and Ridgewood YMCA Kids Fun Run. The Ridgewood Run® supports inclusivity and opportunity for individuals to safely participate.
In 2024, The Ridgewood Run® brought together over 3,000 participants, volunteers and spectators from across the tri-state area. Ridgewood , a Village in Bergen County, located approximately 20 miles northwest of midtown Manhattan and nearby Rockland and Westchester counties in New York, has a population of 26,740; 51% are Female and 49% Male. 75% of participants are from Bergen County, with an average age of 45 for adult participants.
