The Spring Forward has been confirmed for March 9th! With events in the New York Community available for us to choose from, we are positioning our Spring Forward for this new March date. While we are planning on returning to the streets of Woodhaven, this Spring Forward returns to the reliable (and not as scary) hills of Forest Park Drive!
Runners will line up and head from Woodhaven Blvd on the drive towards Metropolitan Avenue and back to complete the first 2.5 mile loop. Runners in the 5 miler will complete another loop, and runners in the 10 miler will complete 4 loops for 10 miles. The course is USATF certified, and will be an excellent prep for a goal Spring Race.
Runners can take public transit, the q53 stops at Myrtle Avenue and Woodhaven Blvd. If you are driving, you can park at the Forest Park Bandshell. You will have to cross Woodhaven Blvd to see our Race Day Set-Up. Baggage will be available

10 Miler (4 Loops) or 5 Miler (2 Loops)
The Course features a 2.5 Mile Out-And Back of Forest Park Drive. Starting from the Woodhaven Blvd side, you’ll pass by Victory Field Track, heading above Myrtle Avenue, heading through the rolling hills of Forest Park Drive, staying to the right lane of the road. You’ll finally reach the Metropolitan Avenue side of Forest Park Drive, and make the turnaround to head back to the Woodhaven Blvd side, remaining on the right side of the road. Once you pass the timing mat, you will have completed the first loop of 2.5 Miles, and continue on with your race. (3 More loops for 10 Miles, 1 Final Loop for 5 Miles)
