This fundraiser to support our veterans honors Navy SEAL LT Michael P Murphy as well as other men and women who made great sacrifices to protect our nation!

Each year the Navy SEAL LT Michael P. Murphy 4M & Half Marathon invites all active-duty military to participate in our event at no charge. You can help us honor an active duty military runner with a sponsorship of only $30.00 dollars. Thank You for your Donation.

PARTICIPANT INFO

OPERATION RED WING RUCK EVENT
Supervised by the 106th Rescue Wing

4 Mile Ruck
* ruck not provided
- 45lb for males
- 35lb for females
2 minutes of pull ups
2 minutes of sit ups
2 minutes of push ups

4 Mile Ruck will go off at the same time as the 4 Mile Run
Pull ups, sit ups & push ups will be done in the park after the 4 Mile Ruck
All participants will recieve a operation red wing / 106the rescue wing challenge coin
Awards for the top male & female athletes will be given at the ceremony

JOIN OR CREATE A TEAM (OPTIONAL)

Form a Team with friends or family! Top 4 teams in the 4 mile recieve an award!

READ & INITIAL TO AGREE

Registration fees are used toward race expenses and cannot be returned once you sign up.

ALL FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE

Nor are they transferable from year to year. Once you are signed up, race fees are used for race expenses and cannot be returned.

In consideration of accepting this entry, I understand and agree to be legally bound hereby for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, successors and waive, release and hold harmless Navy SEAL LT Michael P. Murphy Run Around the Lake, Rotary of Ronkonkoma, Town of Ronkonkoma, elitefeats inc., and any volunteers and all race sponsors and their agents, employees and representatives for any and all injuries, claims, liabilities and causes of action related to my participation in this event. I attest that I am physically fit and have sufficiently trained for the completion of this event and that my condition has been verified by a licensed medical doctor. I further grant permission to any of the foregoing organizations to take and use photographs, video, and recordings or any other record of this event for any purpose whatsoever.

If signed by a parent, the parent agrees to release and hold the above-named organizations and persons harmless of any claims which may be asserted by or on behalf of the entrant as well.

  • Bag Drop: There is a bag drop at the start of the common start line. Your belongings will be available for pickup there after the race. Please note that the Rotary does not take responsibility for any items and unclaimed bags will be donated.
  • ALL In-Person & Virtual Photos: Everyone will have access to a Finisher Certificate upon completion. Virtual runners will have the option to upload up to 5 photos along with a finisher time. In-Person runners will have access to Split & Finish line photos after the event.

BIB PICKUP

  • Hurry; Register 3 weeks in advance to get a personalized Race Number!
  • You must know your bib number in order to pick up your bib. If you do not know your bib number click on Bib Lookup above. 
  • If you register more than 24 hours in advance, your bib number will be texted or emailed to you at least 2 hours prior to bib pickup.
  • If you register within 24 hours of bib pickup you will be texted your bib number within 90 seconds or click on Bib Lookup above.

COURSE / PORTABLES / WATER + ELECTROLYTE STOPS

4 Mile, Half Marathon & Fun Run Maps are available below. Please be aware of the Legend notating the run/walk routes, the bus route and the walk route from the bus to the start line.

Porta Potties will be available every 1.5 Miles.

Water Stops will be available every 1 Mile.

2 Electrolyte Stops for Half Marathoners on each loop. (3 Loops to complete)

NEW! Bag Drop: There is a bag drop at the start of the common start line. Your belongings will be available for pickup there after the race. Please note that the Rotary does not take responsibility for any items and unclaimed bags will be donated.

9AM START / 4 MILE RUN/WALK:

PARKING + SHUTTLE BUS INFORMATION

All event parking is located at the Ronkonkoma Train Station South Parking lot located at the Eastern end of Easton St. and Railroad Ave. in Ronkonkoma.

Shuttle buses will run from 6am to 8:45am to the start lines.

Return buses will run from 9am to 12:30 to the parking lot.

The bus route will be a simplified route this year!
