READ & INITIAL TO AGREE

Registration fees are used toward race expenses and cannot be returned once you sign up.
If under 18, parent/guardian must sign the waiver and a parent/guardian must stay at the race site.

ALL FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE

Nor are they transferable from year to year. Once you are signed up, race fees are used for race expenses and cannot be returned.

In consideration of accepting this entry, I understand and agree to be legally bound hereby for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, successors and waive, release and hold harmless The John J. McKenna IV Memorial 5K, Binghamton University, Campus Recreation, The Student Association, Binghamton Rowing Club, elitefeats inc., and any volunteers and all race sponsors and their agents, employees and representatives for any and all injuries, claims, liabilities and causes of action related to my participation in this event. I attest that I am physically fit and have sufficiently trained for the completion of this event and that my condition has been verified by a licensed medical doctor. I further grant permission to any of the foregoing organizations to take and use photographs, video, and recordings or any other record of this event for any purpose whatsoever.

If signed by a parent, the parent agrees to release and hold the above-named organizations and persons harmless of any claims which may be asserted by or on behalf of the entrant as well.

ABOUT

We invite you to Binghamton Rowing Club's 19th Annual John McKenna IV Memorial 5K run. The event will be held in Binghamton’s West Side at Recreation Park. Proceeds will be split between the Captain John McKenna IV Military Courtesy Room at Albany International Airport and the Binghamton Rowing Club.

BRIEF HISTORY
On August 16th, 2006 the Binghamton Rowing Club family lost a friend. John McKenna IV attended Binghamton University (1994 – 1998) and was a valued rower and teammate. John showed dedication not only to his team, but to his nation through service as a United States Marine. It was during his third tour serving in Iraq that this nation lost a great man with an indelible spirit. Read more about the McKenna Story HERE

BENEFICIARY

Thank you for taking the time to consider a donation to this wonderful cause. All monies raised through the event registration will be donated to the Albany Airport Military Courtesy Room and the Binghamton Rowing Club for its continued growth.

BIB PICKUP

Race Day Packet Pickup: 8-9:30am the morning of the race at Recreation Park

  • Hurry; Register 3 weeks in advance to get a personalized Race Number!
  • You must know your bib number in order to pick up your bib. If you do not know your bib number there will be a Self Lookup area. 
  • If you register within 24 hours of bib pickup you will be texted your bib number within 90 seconds or click on Bib Lookup above.

Starts are Leroy Street and ends at Recreation Park.

RACE DAY TRANSPORTATION BINGHAMTON UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

Race day transportation is provided by Off Campus College Transport Shuttles between 8am-10am leaving from the Binghamton University Mohawk Building, and returning between 11-12pm. Look for members of the Binghamton Rowing Club for any help or questions!
