We are excited for our 5th annual race in memory of Joe Lewinger. Join the young Student-Athletes of The Mary Louis Academy, as we remember Joe, who passed away in March of 2020. Joe was a beloved faculty member at TMLA for almost 20 years. He served as a Social Studies teacher, Athletic Director and eventually as Assistant Principal of Student Life. He, himself, was full of life and poured his heart and soul into our TMLA community.
Our J. Lew Memorial 5k is in support of the Athletics Department that Joe helped establish as the largest all-girls program in New York City.
