Primary Parking: Once you enter Blydenburgh County Park at the Veteran's Highway entrance, drive about a 1/2 Mile to "Picnic Areas 1-5" for the best parking! This Lot will be on your right hand side.

Secondary Parking: You may also find parking across the way at the "Boat Launch & Parking"

Additional Parking: Immediately upon entering the park to the right or at the Dog Park at the end of the road to the left.

In consideration of accepting this entry, I understand and agree to be legally bound hereby for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, successors and waive, release and hold harmless Watermelon 5K Blydenburgh, Blydenburgh County Park, The Town of Smithtown, elitefeats inc., and any volunteers and all race sponsors and their agents, employees and representatives for any and all injuries, claims, liabilities and causes of action related to my participation in this event. I attest that I am physically fit and have sufficiently trained for the completion of this event and that my condition has been verified by a licensed medical doctor. I further grant permission to any of the foregoing organizations to take and use photographs, video, and recordings or any other record of this event for any purpose whatsoever.

If signed by a parent, the parent agrees to release and hold the above-named organizations and persons harmless of any claims which may be asserted by or on behalf of the entrant as well.

No formal bag check. elitefeats cannot take responsibility for any personal belongings but there will be an informal area to leave race belongings in the staging area.

Bathrooms. Public bathrooms located near start & finish.

Hydration on course and provided at finish line.

Virtual option: your items will begin shipping on the same date as the in-person event. You can compete virtually by uploading your time & photos from your run. You can run anywhere, any time!

COURSE

The route is a mixture of pavement, dirt roads, and hard-packed trails that a vehicle can drive on. Please see below for the course map!

PARKING

PRIMARY PARKING at the H. Lee Dennison Building at 100 Veteran's Memorial Hwy, Hauppauge with a 15 minute walk to the Check-in & Startline (arrive early for ample time to walk).

LIMITED PARKING within the park - you may not be able to leave until all runners are safely off the course.

GETTING YOUR BIB

Virtual: Your bib will be mailed directly to you beginning the Monday prior. Please allow 3-5 days to receive after signing up late. If you don't get your bib in the mail by race day, please use the live chat at elitefeats.com to confirm your shipping address (include an apartment number if applicable)

In-Person options: 
Please see the event staff starting one hour before the event start time.

Have your bib mailed to you prior to the race for $10! *(must be registered 10 days in advance to get a bib mailed)

Wearing Your Bib: The mid-torso is the sweet spot for accurate results. Please be sure to wear your bib just above your belly button, right side up, for best read-rates. Do not fold, crumple or cut your bib in any way. It must be visible to onlookers and not get in the way of your arms/legs. Please use four pins, or four alternative-securing gear such as race magnets, in each corner to ensure proper placement and visibility.

EARLY REGISTRANTS (before start day) can start posting times ON start day!
LATE REGISTRANTS (after start day) allow up to 24 hours to post times.
BIB MAILING begins Monday prior to start day. If you register after this, please allow 3-5 business days to receive.
