Registration fees are used toward race expenses and cannot be returned once you sign up.

ALL FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE

Nor are they transferable from year to year. Once you are signed up, race fees are used for race expenses and cannot be returned.

In consideration of accepting this entry, I understand and agree to be legally bound hereby for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, successors and waive, release and hold harmless Shelter Island 10K & 5K Run/Walk, Northwell Health, The Town of Shelter Island, elitefeats inc., and any volunteers and all race sponsors and their agents, employees and representatives for any and all injuries, claims, liabilities and causes of action related to my participation in this event. I attest that I am physically fit and have sufficiently trained for the completion of this event and that my condition has been verified by a licensed medical doctor. I further grant permission to any of the foregoing organizations to take and use photographs, video, and recordings or any other record of this event for any purpose whatsoever.

If signed by a parent, the parent agrees to release and hold the above-named organizations and persons harmless of any claims which may be asserted by or on behalf of the entrant as well.

10K Age Group Medals:

  • Top 3 M/F - 19 & under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+
    The winner of each age group will also receive a complimentary entry to next year’s race:

10K Prize Purses: 

  • Top 4 M/F: 1st $750, 2nd $500, 3rd $300, 4th $150
  • Top 2 M/F Masters (40+): 1st $200, 2nd $100
  • Top 1 M/F U.S. Citizen: $250
  • 10K Course Record Bonus: Open M/F $500, Masters M/F $250

5K Awards: 

  • Medals Awarded for Top 3 Male/Female Overall - no age group awards.

BIB PICKUP

IN PERSON RUN:

Register 3 weeks in advance to get a personalized Race Number!

Registering before 6/8? Your bib will be mailed to you.

If you do not get your bib or register after 6/8: please see the event staff at the FAQ tent outside the Shelter Island High School Gym: 3PM Shirt pickup begins. 3:30 Bib pickup begins.

Registering within 24 hours of the event? You must bring your confirmation email to be assigned a bib number on race day.

Getting to the race an Hour+ before race time is suggested.
