Bib Distribution: Friday, August 30th at The Queensboro, 80-02 Northern Boulevard, Jackson Heights, 11372, from 5pm to 7pm.

Queens Is The Future! Register NOW for the flagship race event of the Queens Distance Runners through Jackson Heights, the most diverse neighborhood in the U.S.! Race the mile, watch the heats, organize or join a RELAY team, and enjoy everything Jackson Heights has to offer all weekend long.

We are partnering with the 34th Ave Open Streets Coalition, Community Centers Services Organization, and NYC Kids Rise, sharing proceeds with them. Funds raised will support college and career scholarships for students at P.S. 149 and P.S. 398 through NYC Kids RISE.

In consideration of accepting this entry, I understand and agree to be legally bound hereby for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, successors and waive, release and hold harmless QDR Jackson Heights Mile & Relay, The Queens Distance Runners, Jackson Heights, The Borough of Queens, elitefeats inc., and any volunteers and all race sponsors and their agents, employees and representatives for any and all injuries, claims, liabilities and causes of action related to my participation in this event. I attest that I am physically fit and have sufficiently trained for the completion of this event and that my condition has been verified by a licensed medical doctor. I further grant permission to any of the foregoing organizations to take and use photographs, video, and recordings or any other record of this event for any purpose whatsoever.

BAGGAGE

Runners must check their baggage at least 30 minutes prior to the start of their heat at Northern Playground (94th Street).

Upon completing your race, runners will walk forward to 75th Street, loop around the median of 34th Avenue, and walk back in the direction of Travers Park, your bag will be set in numerical order, and ready for pick up and join our festivities at Travers Park.

If you prefer to leave your bag directly at Travers Park, we ask that you do so at least 30 minutes prior to the start of your heat. You could use this as an opportunity to warm up to 94th Street.

BIB PICKUP

Runners are allowed to pick up Bibs for friends and loved ones.

ON RACE DAY: Bib Pickup available at Northern Playground 40 minutes to the start of each heat.

Race Day Kids Dash Bib Pickup - We will have volunteers at 81st Street and 34th Avenue with all remaining bibs for the Kids Dash

Virtual: Your bib will be shipped to you. Please be sure you provide your shipping address while registering.

If you don't get your bib in the mail, please use the live chat at elitefeats.com, and we'll send a new one after confirming your shipping address (include an apartment number if applicable)

COURSE

Runners will run south down 94th Street, and make the only right turn of the entire race, accessing the south road of 34th Avenue. There is a slight incline passing 82nd Street, but what goes up, must come down. Whether you go out hard or “sit and kick”, each and every runner has a steep downhill for nearly the entire final 400 meters.

½- 86th Street
¾- 81st Street
Finish- 76th Street
