Come be a part of the 2nd ever, almost annual Farmington Valley Pumpkin Run to support Sandy Hook Promise and the mission to end gun violence in our schools.
Run or walk the scenic, wooded 5k course through beautiful Winding Trails Recreation Center. Team up with a couple of friends or family members and cover about a mile each as part of the 5K relay. Or come out early and enjoy some gentle yoga next to Walton Pond. Kids can run a half or full mile kids run. And everyone is welcome all day to celebrate fall in idylic surrounding. There will be food, music, games, raffles, contests, and prizes throughout the day. The 5K and 5K relay will be officially timed and prizes will be awarded to top finishers. All kids participating in the kids run will receive a gift bag and medal.
