Come join us for our 11th Annual Nicholas Pedone 5K! Your support will be benefiting the Nicholas Pedone Foundation, an organization in which provides smiles for courageous children battling the terrible disease of cancer.

Our event will be kicking off the month of September in honor of childhood cancer awareness month; our goal is to flood the streets in gold!

Nor are they transferable from year to year. Once you are signed up, race fees are used for race expenses and cannot be returned.

In consideration of accepting this entry, I understand and agree to be legally bound hereby for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, successors and waive, release and hold harmless Nicholas Pedone 5K, Nicholas Pedone Foundation, Town of Glen Cove, elitefeats inc., and any volunteers and all race sponsors and their agents, employees and representatives for any and all injuries, claims, liabilities and causes of action related to my participation in this event. I attest that I am physically fit and have sufficiently trained for the completion of this event and that my condition has been verified by a licensed medical doctor. I further grant permission to any of the foregoing organizations to take and use photographs, video, and recordings or any other record of this event for any purpose whatsoever.

If signed by a parent, the parent agrees to release and hold the above-named organizations and persons harmless of any claims which may be asserted by or on behalf of the entrant as well.

  • $1,000 of Prize Money, sponsored and funded by Pizza Company 7, will be distributed to Top 3 Finishers in Both Male/Female and Wheelchair: 1st $150 - 2nd $100 - 3rd $50
  • Trophies will be awarded to the Top Overall Male and Female & Top Overall Wheelchair Male and Female
  • Quality medals awarded to Top 3 M/F Age Groups: 10 & Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+

  • Please see the event staff starting one hour before the event start time.
  • Hurry; Register 3 weeks in advance to get a personalized Race Number!

COURSE

The Nicholas Pedone 5k is a 3.1 mile (5K) course that runs through the beautiful streets of Glen Cove starting in the front of Glen Cove High School and finishing in the back by the football field/track. The Nicholas Pedone 5K is a USATF Certified Course and Sanctioned Event - See Map

Baby strollers and Baby Joggers ARE permitted on the course. HOWEVER, MUST LINE UP IN THE BACK
