In consideration of accepting this entry, I understand and agree to be legally bound hereby for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, successors and waive, release and hold harmless Peconic Landing John May Mile & 5K Run/Walk, elitefeats inc., and any volunteers and all race sponsors and their agents, employees and representatives for any and all injuries, claims, liabilities and causes of action related to my participation in this event. I attest that I am physically fit and have sufficiently trained for the completion of this event and that my condition has been verified by a licensed medical doctor. I further grant permission to any of the foregoing organizations to take and use photographs, video, and recordings or any other record of this event for any purpose whatsoever.

If signed by a parent, the parent agrees to release and hold the above-named organizations and persons harmless of any claims which may be asserted by or on behalf of the entrant as well.

BIB PICKUP

Please see the event staff starting at 7:3oam.

  • Hurry; Register 3 weeks in advance to get a personalized Race Number!
  • You must know your bib number in order to pick up your bib. If you do not know your bib number there will be a Self Lookup area. 
  • If you register more than 24 hours in advance, your bib number will be texted or emailed to you at least 2 hours prior to bib pickup.
  • If you register within 24 hours of bib pickup please bring your confirmation email, either on your phone or printed, in order to be assigned a bib.


COURSE

5K & Untimed "John May Mile" Fitness Walk Across the gorgeous Peconic Landing Campus.
Strollers, baby joggers, rollerblades, skates, or pets are not permitted on the course.

EVENT SCHEDULE

7:30am - Registration, Bib Pickup & Warm-Up

9:00am - 5K Race & “John May-Mile” Untimed Fitness Walk around Peconic Landing Campus

10am - 2pm - at Brecknock Hall:  BBQ on site, Raffles, 50/50 & More!

10:30am- Presentation of the Peconic Landing Older American’s Champion Award & Presentation of In-Person 5K Race Awards.
