Key Highlights:
❖ Honoring Trailblazers: Marylou Jackson, Velma Jackson, Ethyl Miller, Leolya Nelson, and Constance White laid the foundation for future generations. This event is a tribute to their indomitable spirit.
❖ 4-Day Movement Challenge: Participants embark alongside the in-person 1928 Legacy Tour challengers. It's a journey of community, legacy building, and joy.
❖ Daily Activations and Awards: Daily activations will increase your odds in the virtual challenge raffle as you reach your goal. Awards will go to the largest team, donations, and miles logged.
❖ Fundraising for Youth Programs: The event seeks to address health disparities, engage youth in alternative activities, and boost community engagement. Regardless of background, everyone should have the opportunity to experience the joy of cycling and the great outdoors.

Virtual Challenge for a Cause:
The 1928 Legacy Tour Virtual Challenge goes beyond cycling; it's an opportunity to impact the future! By participating, you contribute to fundraising efforts supporting youth programs. One of our flagship initiatives is the Chocolate City Community Ride. This wellness event includes a youth bike giveaway and a community bike ride through the historic streets of Washington, DC.
Since 2021, with the help of our partner, Bikes For the World, we’ve eliminated a barrier of access for 100 youth in communities experiencing chronic trauma and low youth activity rates. Help us connect with another 75 youth!
