Iron Girl Project proudly supports high school student athletes through the annual Alexea G. Karpinski Memorial Scholarship Fund. Our goal is to encourage student athletes to create a positive legacy, one that has an impact on their teammates, families and communities. We award these leaders for demonstrating true grit, tenacity and humility on and off the field. They strive to make themselves and others greater than the day before.
Founded in honor of Alexea ‘Lex’ Karpinski, IGP is a 501(c)(3) non-profit raising funds for the Alexea G. Karpinski Memorial Scholarship which is awarded annually to qualifying high school athletes who exemplify true grit, leadership, and teamwork on and off the field. Each scholarship is valued at $2,253 which represent Alexea's field hockey and lacrosse jersey numbers.
