Race instructions regarding the event start will be sent out by the evening before the event.
No formal bag check. elitefeats cannot take responsibility for any personal belongings but there will be an informal area to leave race belongings in the staging area.
Bathrooms. Public bathrooms located within a few minutes walk from start & finish and on course.

  • Enjoy your run then stick around for Fundraiser and Run/Walk Awards. We will have an Educational Area, Donation Area and a Survivors Area to provide education and information, raise funds, build awareness and come together!
  • All participants get a one of a kind :coloncancerfighter tee, bib and snack at the finish line (in person)

  • Our surround sound national campaigns focused on telling everyone to get screened;
  • A national tour of our educational inflatable colon The Rollin’ Colon;
  • Prevention Programs in New York City including\ screening efforts for the uninsured and underserved;
  • Funding to support colorectal research at leading institutions;
  • Our annual Summit focused on addressing Early Age Onset Colorectal Cancer;
  • Awards to young colorectal cancer investigators presenting at the world’s premier colorectal cancer societies.

OUR MISSION: To lead the fight against colorectal cancer (CRC) by supporting research that will lead to the prevention of, therapy for, and eradication of CRC in our lifetime, educating the public and the healthcare community about CRC and the most effective strategies for preventing the disease and advocating for equal access to quality of life-affirming, fertility-preserving treatment for all patients and caregivers.  


COURSE

This year's Certified, Timed 5K Run and Remembrance & Prevention Walk will take place in the scenic and historical Flushing Meadows Park! The course is a USATF certified loop and begins near the Queens Theater, passing the iconic World's Fair Unisphere, Fountain of the Planets and Queens Museum of Art. 5K = 1 loop.

GETTING YOUR BIB

In-Person: Please see the event staff starting one hour before the event start time.

  • Hurry; Register 3 weeks in advance to get a personalized Race Number!
  • You must know your bib number in order to pick up your bib. If you do not know your bib number there will be a Self Lookup area. 
  • If you register more than 24 hours in advance, your bib number will be texted or emailed to you at least 2 hours prior to bib pickup.
  • If you register within 24 hours of bib pickup please bring your confirmation email, either on your phone or printed, in order to be assigned a bib.

Virtual: Are shipped to you! Shipping window ranges from one week prior to the event to one week post event.
