  • NEW THIS YEAR FROM THE RACE DIRECTOR OF THE 'OCEAN TO SOUND RELAY'

    The race director of the Ocean to Sound Relay has launched a new relay called the Six Hour Challenge.

    Teams of four - Male, Female and Coed - compete for a number of loops accomplished over six hours.

    This is done over a 1.75 mile loop at Belmont Lake State Park which means an aid station every 1.75 miles and the party goes on through the duration of the event!

    Team members can run any amount they want and multiple times. 

    There is plenty of post relay food and drink with none of the logistical hassle!

  • Lots of food and drinks, starting 20 minutes after the finish of the Run with special Birthday Surprises for those born in 1963!
  • Every registrant gets a commemorative crew neck sweatshirt!
  • Every member of the "Class of 1963" gets a commemorative hooded sweatshirt!

BENEFICIARY

A portion of the proceeds are donated to the Nassau County Firefighters Museum.


A portion of the proceeds will also be donated to the NRC Youth Program.


BIB PICKUP

  • Oak/Pine Pavilion located adjacent to North Parking Lot near the start/finish area and bathrooms from 7:00AM - 8:15AM
  • Hurry; Register 3 weeks in advance to get a personalized Race Number!

COURSE

Flat scenic course mostly on a friendly dirt path near and around Belmont Lake.  Runners will be switched to a 1/3 mile loop for the last laps to facilitate scoring.  Runners can run as many or as few loops as they choose.
