The Friends of The Ferguson Library is a non-profit, volunteer organization established in 1979. The Friends advocate for the Library in the community and generously support programming and collections through membership fees, donations and revenue raised through their award-winning book shops.
Summer reading, book discussions, film programs and cultural events are a few of the many library programs supported by The Friends’ funding. The Friends’ Book for Babies program supplies a free first book to every baby born at Stamford Hospital.
The Friends sponsor various special events such as numerous author discussions throughout the year, an annual Literary Competition for all Stamford students, the ever popular Pub Crawl and our newest Mini-Golf family event!
